TAL (The Alberta Library) Card:The borrower must have a current card from their home library, which must be a member of The Alberta Library Consortium. The borrower must apply at their home library for the TAL card.

Reciprocal Card: The borrower must have a current card from their home library, which has signed a reciprocal borrowing agreement with Edmonton Public Library.

Note: Borrowers from other libraries may only have one type of card with Edmonton Public Library.

Edmonton Public Library's own customers can get a TAL Card and then use it at other libraries (like Calgary Public Library).

Remote Access to Licensed Databases (eg. eAudiobooks, Press Display, Naxos, etc) are not available for TAL, Corporate, Non-Resident, or Reciprocal cards. Check with your home library for database access.

METRO DELIVERY AGREEMENT

No special cards are issued.

Borrowers who are members of Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert and County of Strathcona Public Libraries may borrow books at any one library at which they are a member and return to any other member library.

Material is delivered to the home library (weekdays only) and backdated to the date returned.
