Tax season is upon us! Whatever your situation, there are community and government resources available to help you get your taxes done and filed. Just a reminder that you need to file by Monday, May 1 for individuals or Thursday, June 15 for self-employed individuals. Free Tax Clinics
Do you need help with your tax return? You may be eligible for assistance at a free tax clinic if you have a modest income and a simple tax situation. CRA provides a detailed list of eligibility requirements.
One option that provides support for hundreds of Edmontonians is e4c Make Tax Time Pay. They can help you access your tax documents and file your taxes. They also offer their services in a number of different languages including English, French, Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese and more.

Still have questions or otherwise need to contact the CRA? They have extended their call centre hours. The individual inquiries line is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CRA telephone numbers, fax numbers, addresses and even estimated wait times for the different numbers are available on the CRA website.
