The Lois Hole Library opened in September 2008 and was named after The Late, The Honourable Lois Hole,15th Lieutenant-Governor of Alberta, who was a passionate champion of public libraries. The recognition goes beyond naming, as there is also a sculpture of her by Danek Mozdzenski and a reading garden.
