It’s summertime – what we’ve all been waiting for! School’s out, the weather’s great, and you’re ready to explore all the amazing family experiences that Edmonton has to offer. We’ve rounded up some of our favourites, whether it's exploring local gems or venturing to new destinations, all these activities will create family memories for years to come.

Edmonton Summer Activities

1.    Summer Starts at EPL!

The top thing on our bucket list this summer is a trip to the library! Our Summer Starts at EPL summer reading program keeps kids reading, learning, and creating all summer long. Children can track their summer reading and make their own button for every six hours they read.

Plus, there are all the fantastic programs and events taking place all summer long. Experience circus silliness with The Great Balanzo, learn about tropical life with 19 Islands, and listen to the musical stylings of Beth Portman or Zach Willier. Get up close to marine invertebrates with West Edmonton Mall’s Spineless Wonders, take a yoga class, and learn about wildlife rehabilitation with Corby the Raven

Bust out some great moves with the Solar System Dance Party, learn about the phases of the moon and constellations, or code a robot. Learn to draw cute animals, make a movie, or create your own wreck-it journal
