About Rebecca

With over ten years of experience advising executives in post-secondary and government sectors, Rebecca Bock-Freeman is a big picture thinker who can bring people together towards a shared vision.

Rebecca is the Manager of Academic Strategy at NorQuest College, Alberta’s fastest growing comprehensive community college. In this role, Rebecca leads collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams to transform the educational experiences of almost 20,000 learners. Prior to this role, she spent seven years in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, creating and executing communication and issue management strategies on public policy and priorities for the Government of Alberta and Government of Manitoba.

Rebecca is passionate about improving the lives of Edmontonians, building community, creating innovative ways to advance our city and enable lifelong learning.
