EPL offers a variety of virtual and in-person visits. Learn about the Library, resources and services for students, their families and educators, or the Young Reader's Choice Awards (YRCA) and Bataille des bouquins reading programs.

YRCA Presentation (Grades 4-12)

The Young Reader's Choice Awards (YRCA) is a year-long reading program for children in Grades 4 to 12. Only kids can vote—no grownups allowed! In this presentation, get ready to share some laughs while we share some great books!

Bataille des bouquins Presentation (Grade 4-6)

Bataille des bouquins is a program developed by EPL to promote the love of reading books in French among young readers.

How to Be an Information Detective (Grades 4-12)

How to Be an Information Detective is a curriculum-aligned workshop about the wild, complicated world of information literacy. Your students will learn how to find information, think critically about it and root out disinformation and not-credible sources. There is an emphasis on finding information online using Google, other websites and online databases as tools.

Summer Starts at EPL (Grades K-6)

Summer Starts is EPL's annual summer program for kids. We'll visit your school to tell kids all about our exciting summer programs, including our summer reading challenges, tons of events and guest performances, prizes, and more. Note: There is a limited number of visits available per school. Please coordinate with your school to book presentations by division.

Presentation at a Teachers’ Staff Meeting

An EPL librarian will join your staff meeting and provide an overview of EPL’s services and resources for students and educators, with an emphasis on online resources.

In-Library Tour

Book your class for a library tour and discover the range of material, programs, and services provided by the library. If possible, please submit your request at least four weeks in advance to ensure the library has availability. Pick your top dates and times and we will do our best to fit you in or to find an alternate date that works for everyone.
