EPL's Meadows Branch, part of the Meadows Community Recreation Centre, received an Award of Excellence in Urban Architecture at the 2017 Edmonton Urban Design Awards, opens a new window! Group2 Architecture Engineering Ltd. and Perkins + Will Canada designed the facility, which was the first collaboration between EPL and the City of Edmonton to bring together a public library and a recreation centre under one roof.
Our 15,000 square foot Meadows Branch, featuring windows branded in library colours, an outdoor culture bowl and reading garden, and more, opened in December 2014.
